Abstract:
Provided is a method by which a fluorine-containing emulsifier can be simply and efficiently recovered from a liquid to be treated that contains a fluorine-containing polymer and the fluorine-containing emulsifier. A liquid to be treated that contains a fluorine-containing polymer and a fluorine-containing emulsifier is brought into contact with a strongly basic anion exchange resin that has an ion exchange capacity of 1.0 eq/L or less and a water content of 60 mass percent or more, and the fluorine-containing emulsifier is recovered from the liquid to be treated by adsorbing the fluorine-containing emulsifier on the strongly basic anion exchange resin.
