Abstract:
Provided are: a method for easily and efficiently recovering an oxo acid catalyst, which is used in a reaction for oxidizing an organic compound by hydrogen peroxide, without deteriorating the yield of the reaction product and the activity of the catalyst; and a method for producing an oxide, wherein an organic compound is oxidized by hydrogen peroxide using an oxo acid catalyst recovered by the above-described method, thereby obtaining a corresponding oxide. A recovery method of an oxo acid catalyst according to the present invention is a method for recovering an oxo acid catalyst that is used in a reaction for oxidizing an organic compound by hydrogen peroxide in a water/organic solvent two phase system, and this recovery method of an oxo acid catalyst is characterized by having the following step. Step 1: The oxo acid catalyst is transferred to the water phase by adjusting the pH within the system to 5.0 or more, and the organic phase is removed.
