Abstract:
A process for producing a recyclable vinyl chloride carpet comprising: a step in which a plasticizer is mixed with a vinyl chloride resin to give a vinyl chloride resin paste sol; a step of mixing a finely-divided material in which the vinyl chloride resin paste sol is mixed with a material that is produced by finely dividing a discarded carpet material comprising a vinyl chloride resin and has a grain size of 300 μm or less to thereby give a paste sol; a step of mixing a fuller in which the paste sol is mixed with an inorganic filler to give a sheeting composition; and a step in which the sheeting composition is integrally laminated on the back surface of a surface material (8). This process enables the incorporation of a higher amount of a discarded carpet material into a packing layer of a recyclable carpet compared to that in a conventional carpet.
