Abstract:
Disclosed is a recycled pulp manufacturing device (100) provided with: a stirring tank (181) that uses stirring blades (184) to stir waste paper (6) together with water supplied by a water-supply unit (182), thereby defibrating the waste paper; a recycled-pulp-containing fluid removal channel (201) that removes from the stirring tank (181) a fluid that contains recycled pulp, including printing colorants and partially-defibrated residual waste paper (62); a water-extraction unit (202) that extracts water from the aforementioned fluid removed from the recycled-pulp-containing fluid removal channel (201), and also removes, together with the extracted fluid, the printing colorants; and a dehydrated-pulp return channel (203) that returns to the stirring tank (181) the partially-defibrated residual waste paper (62) from which the water was extracted by the water-extraction unit (202). These defibration and water-extraction processes are repeated.
