Abstract:
The present invention relates to a recycling method for a cathode material and, more specifically, to a recycling method for a cathode material, the method comprising the steps of: introducing a cathode for a lithium secondary battery into a solvent, the cathode comprising a current collector and a cathode active material layer formed on the current collector, the cathode active material layer containing a first cathode active material, a first binder, and a first conductor; separating at least a part of the cathode active material layer from the current collector; adding a second binder powder into the solvent, followed by primary mixing; and adding a second cathode active material and a second conductor into the solvent, followed by secondary mixing, to prepare a cathode material slurry, wherein the ratio of the total weight of the first cathode active material, the first binder, and the first conductor, contained in the separated cathode active material layer, and the total weight of the second cathode active material, the second binder powder, and the second conductor is 8:92 to 28:72.
