Abstract:
This redox catalyst is obtained by having carbon nanotubes, the average diameter (Av) and the standard deviation (σ) of diameters of which satisfy the relation 0.60 > 3σ/Av > 0.20, support a catalytically active component. At least a part of the surface of each carbon nanotube, including the portion where the catalytically active component is supported, is covered by a porous inorganic material.
