Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a redox flow battery having a high charge/discharge efficiency. The redox flow battery (100) according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is provided with: a negative electrode (10); a positive electrode (20); a first liquid (12) containing a first non-aqueous solvent, a first redox species (18), and metal ions, the first liquid (12) being in contact with the negative electrode (10); a second liquid (22) containing a second non-aqueous solvent, the second liquid (22) being in contact with the positive electrode (20); and a metal ion conductive film (30) disposed between the first liquid (12) and the second liquid (22). The metal ion conductive film (30) has a porous layer (70) and a resin layer (80), the resin layer (80) being in contact with the porous layer (70) and containing a fluororesin. The porous layer (70) has a porous body (71) and a filler (73) located in the pores (72) in the porous body (71), the filler (73) containing a fluororesin.
