Abstract:
This redox flow battery is provided with: electrodes; a cell frame, which is provided with a frame body and a bipolar plate, and which has fitting-in recessed sections, in which the electrodes are fitted; and a diaphragm that sandwiches each of the electrodes between the bipolar plate and the diaphragm. The interval between a side end surface of the outer peripheral end surface of each of the electrodes, said side end surface being parallel to the circulation direction of an electrolytic solution, and the inner wall surface of each of the fitting-in recessed sections, said inner wall surface facing the side end surface, is 0.1-12 mm.
