Abstract:
A reducer comprises: a body composed of top (11), bottom (12) and side wall (13), in which, the bottom (12) is a sloping, there are a feed opening (14) and a discharge port (16) for metallic vapor near the top (11), and there is a residue discharge port (15) at the lowest part of the sloping bottom (12); a feed opening end cover (17) connected with the feed opening (14); a residue discharge port end cover (18) connected with the residue discharge port (15); and a collector or a crystallizer (19) connected with the discharge port (16) for metallic vapor. The reducer could solve the problems occurred in conventional reducer, such as low capacity, low productivity, difficulties in charge and discharge, and high labor intensity. By using the reducer, the period of reduction reaction could be reduced, the productivity and yield could be improved, and cost could be reduced. The reducer could be used to manufacture the metals which could be vacuum-smelted through thermal reduction reaction, such as Mg, Sr, Zn and Be.
