Title:
REDUCTOR FOR ELECTROMECHANICAL WRIST WATCHES WITH STEPPING MOTOR AND CENTRAL SECONDS HAND
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1980/000380
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A reductor for electromechanical wrist watches comprises three coaxial driving shafts having different speeds of rotation and interconnected with each other as well as with the shaft (2) of the stepping motor (3) through pinion-gear tooth pairs. The shaft (12) making one revolution per hour with a clutch wheel (10) fixed thereon is provided with a bearing shaped as a supporting bush (28) compressed in the opening of the plate (26) of the watch. The bush (28) is compressed so that a part (28a) extends beyond the plate (26) in the direction of a bridge (23) adjusted in relation to the plate (26) and fixed to it with screw joints. The shaft (12) goes loosely through the opening of the supporting bush (28) and is prevented from unlimited axial movement in one direction by the butt end (28d) of the supporting bush (28) and in the other direction by the butt end of that pinion (13) which is compressed on the shaft (12). The reductor may be used in the watch industry, in the production of quartz wrist watches with stepping motor and similar time measuring devices.
