Abstract:
Disclosed in embodiments of the present invention are a redundant transmission control method and a related device, characterized in that the method is applied to a network device. The method comprises: receiving, by means of a first path, a first packet sent by a sending end, and forwarding the first packet to a destination end; receiving, by means of a second path, a second packet sent by the sending end, and determining whether the destination end has received the first packet, wherein the second packet is a redundant packet of the first packet; if the destination end has received the first packet, discarding the second packet; and if the destination end has not received the first packet, forwarding the second packet to the destination end. By adopting the embodiments of the present invention, the reliability of packet transmission can be improved, and the waste of transmission resources can be reduced.
