Abstract:
Provided are a reel to which an anti-theft security function can be added without requiring space and a recording tape cartridge.
The recording tape cartridge (10) is equipped with the reel (20). The reel (20) includes: a cylindrical hub (22) around the outer circumferential surface of which a recording tape (T) is wound; an amorphous magnetic wire (100) having a large Barkhausen effect and provided to be wound substantially along the inner circumferential surface of the hub (22); and a retaining member (25) for preventing the amorphous magnetic wire (100) from falling off the hub (22).
