Abstract:
A reel, which is embedded in such a manner that the reel cannot be demounted from a drive device, can easily be attached to a winding device that winds blank recording tapes. The reel (10) comprises: a roughly cylindrical bottomed reel hub (12) having an outer peripheral surface around which a recording tape (T) is wound; a reel gear (44) that is formed at the bottom (18) of the reel hub (12), and that meshes with a drive gear (54) of the winding device (50) that winds the recording tape (T) around the reel hub (12); and a stationary section (40) that is formed at the bottom (18) of the reel hub (12), and that is fixed by a fastener (38) to a fastening section (66) formed on a rotating member (64) of the drive device (60).
