Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of better identifying a reference mark. On the basis of formed part data that are data about one or more respective formed parts that are located in a provisional search area that has been provisionally established on a circuit board and of mark data that is data about a reference mark, this reference mark identification device modifies the provisional search area to establish an actual search area and determines whether each of one or more formed parts that are located in the established actual search area is the reference mark. The actual search area may, for example, be established such that there are fewer formed parts located in the actual search area than in the provisional search area. As a result, the reference mark can be better identified than when identification is based on the provisional search area.
