Abstract:
A heavy liquid is stored in a heavy liquid reservoir (120). In a container (50), a sample is separated according to the difference in specific gravity by using the heavy liquid supplied from the heavy liquid reservoir (120). A waste liquid is discharged from the container (50) through a first pipe (14). The heavy liquid from the first pipe (14) is delivered to the heavy liquid reservoir (120) through a second pipe (10). A filter unit (F1, F2) is provided on the second pipe (10) and in the filter unit, contaminants are removed from the heavy liquid discharged from the first pipe (14).
