Abstract:
Provided is a reflection-suppressing film having a wide reflection suppression wavelength region. A reflection-suppressing film (11) is provided with a high-refractive-index layer (12H) having a relatively high refractive index and a low-refractive-index layer (12L) having a relatively low refractive index. The high-refractive-index layer (12H) and the low-refractive-index layer (12L) are alternatingly layered in a manner such that a low-refractive-index layer (12L1) is the outermost layer. The reflection-suppressing film (11) is further provided with an intermediate-refractive-index layer (12M). The intermediate-refractive-index layer (12M) is positioned between the low-refractive-index layer (12L1) serving as the outermost layer and an adjacently positioned high-refractive-index layer (12H1). The intermediate-refractive-index layer (12M) has a higher refractive index than that of the low-refractive-index layer (12L1) serving as the outermost layer and a lower refractive index than that of the adjacently positioned high-refractive-index layer (12H1).
