A reflective screen (10) comprising a base section (11), a light transmitting section (12) provided in the base section (11), and a light absorbing section (14). The light transmitting section (12) is constituted of a large number of unit prism shapes (12) of substantially wedge-shape having a width larger on the image source side than on the rear surface side and formed along the screen surface (10a). A layer (13) for reflecting image light passed through the unit prism shape (12) is provided on the rear surface side of the unit prism shape (12). Each unit prism shape (12) extends linearly and the light absorbing section (14) is arranged between the unit prism shapes (12).
