Description:
REFLECTIVE THERMAL PANEL

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The present invention may be included in any technical field requiring conditioning of already existing buildings or premises, as well as the construction of industrial storeys or equipment.

Particularly, the object of the invention refers to a coating panel or reflective thermal panel having a photopolymer coating, being capable of thermally insulating under construction or already existing buildings and/or industrial storeys or equipment with high exposure to heat due to solar radiation.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Since the XIX century, many attempts have been made to try and explain the population about the disastrous causes and consequences entailed by global warming. It can be seen how glaciers are thawing, the sea level is increasing, summer seasons are having the highest temperature that people have never lived before, etc. However, even when the population is being educated regarding the use of other energy sources, such as wind or solar, there is an existing effect we still have to live with and it is that electric energy continues being the type of energy mostly consumed.

Because of the high heat levels, nowadays there is a high consumption of electric energy by the population so as to keep a comfortable environment for comfort inside premises, households and other type of buildings. However, this creates an adverse effect and at the same time, intensifies the use of renewable resources such as water.

The solutions that are currently found only define a specific problem to be solved, and do not offer a complete solution for heat insulation and refrigeration in the same device. Some currently known exemplary solutions are those described in documents US8635824 and US7882669. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The invention refers to a coating panel or reflective thermal panel comprising a photopolymer coating which allows insulating a construction with high heat exposure due to the solar radiation effect and/or heating a construction at low temperatures. The panel is removable and, it can be installed in outside areas or in enclosed places.

Energy efficiency is the cheapest option for guaranteeing the actions and recommendations from different research directed to climate change. This is why the reflective thermal panel object of the invention is intended for obtaining energy saving. It allows moderating the growth of the electric energy demand for conditioning the temperature in premises, and involves a great potential for reducing greenhouse effect gases. For all the above, the reflective thermal panel featuring heat insulation and refrigeration capability by means of structural layers, enhances efficiency of energy consumption, improves the micro climate of the space where it is located, and keeps a more comfortable environment according to the requirements. As it has been previously described, up to now no modular systems are known to comprise in the same panel heat insulating components and air conduction providing for refrigeration.

Thus, the panel described herein is modular and removable, and the key of the invention is that it comprises at least five layers, attached to each other by using thermochemical or thermophysical means, and their components include heat insulating components and air conduction providing for refrigeration. Particularly, the at least five layers are:

- a photopolymer layer, being transparent, in the outer surface of the panel, intended for refracting light, thus reducing heat absorption;

- an aluminium layer, intended for heat absorption;

- a fibre glass layer, conducting inside thereof the heat being received and acting as a stop for thermal radiation;

- an air chamber, allowing hot air circulation; - an insulating expanded polystyrene layer.

The advantages related to the use of the panel disclosed are: adjusting the temperature in buildings, households and premises as indicated and preferred by the user; allowing the cold air to flow evenly all through the building where it is required; and providing the living beings, products or items inside a building with comfort, protection and preservation. By being modular and removable, it allows using the necessary amount of panels for covering a given surface. Furthermore, the panel helps contributing to energy saving and planet preservation.

The photopolymer layer deflects the heat-emitting solar rays, the heat that penetrates into the structure being received by the glass fibre layer which absorbs this remaining heat that could penetrate inside. The transparent photopolymer layer is adhered to an aluminium sheet, which in turn adheres to the glass fibre layer working as insulator, attached to a vacuum chamber. Likewise, the fibre cement allows finishing the panel in different ways.

This set of layers may also comprise an anchoring aluminium sheet formed by pressure, bores for bolt anchoring and a fibre cement layer, providing for a desired finish. Likewise, it may comprise an additional layer made of galvanized steel. The reflective thermal panel provides for easy installation and removal thereof by using expanding bolts. Since the panel is so easily removable, it can be easily taken off when it is not necessary. Furthermore, it is highly water and fire resistant and it does not release toxic gases.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

To implement the present description being made and in order to provide a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, according to a preferred practical embodiment thereof, a set of drawings is attached as part of this description, with an illustrative but not limitative purpose, which represents the following:

Figure 1 .- It shows the reflective thermal panel and how the sun rays are reflected in one of the layers forming it. Figure 2.- It shows a perspective view of the reflective thermal panel.

Figure 3.- It shows a sectional view where the different layers forming it, can be observed. PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

The following is a description, with the help of figures 1 to 3, an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. The coating panel (1 ) disclosed is intended for reducing heat in a place into the walls of which it is installed. Figure 1 represents a coating panel (1 ) and shows how the sun rays strike thereon.

One of the characteristics of the invention is that it is a removable panel (1 ), that is, it can be removed and installed according to the particular requirements. In an exemplary embodiment, as that shown in figure 2, attaching the panel to the surface onto which it is installed, can be made with bolts (2). For that purpose, the panel comprises bolt receiving holes (2). An essential characteristic of the panel (1 ) is that it is formed by layers, which provides it with all the advantages described above. More particularly, the panel (1 ) comprises at least five layers.

Figure 3 shows at least five layers of the panel (1 ), these being:

- a photopolymer (3) layer, being transparent, intended for refracting light, thus reducing heat absorption;

- an aluminium (4) layer, intended for heat absorption;

- a fibre glass (5) layer, conducting inside thereof the heat being received and acting as a stop for thermal radiation;

- an air chamber (6), allowing hot air circulation;

- an insulating expanded polystyrene (7) layer. Figure 3 shows said panel (1 ) onto the surface (8) intended for being covered and it also shows, still without being in their place but oriented correspondingly, bolts (2) for attaching the panel (1 ) to the surface (8). The photopolymer (3) can be labelled or painted so as to adapt this to the aesthetic needs of the surface to be covered.
