Abstract:
Techniques are generally described herein for the design and manufacture of hydrogen generation. Embodiments include, but are not limited to, methods, apparatuses, and systems. Other embodiments may also be disclosed and claimed. Some systems described herein include a reformer, a hydrogen purifier disposed externally to the reformer, an accumulation tank configured to receive purified hydrogen from the hydrogen purifier, and a reduction return line configured to route the purified hydrogen from the accumulation tank to the hydrogen purifier to provide a reducing atmosphere for one or more surfaces of the hydrogen purifier. One or more operations of the reformer and/or the hydrogen purifier may be controlled, adjusted, and/or monitored by a non-microprocessor-based controller.
