Abstract:
Provided are: a reformer furnace that prevents reaction residues and unreacted carbides which are lifted up in the furnace from mixing into water gas as impurities and that efficiently stirs the carbides in the furnace, particularly, in a region where pyrolysis and gasification are performed; and a gasification system using the same. The reformer includes an inner tube, an outer tube, a hollow cylindrical body, a cut out member, and a rotation shaft. The inner tube has a cross-section expanded portion where the cross-sectional area expands from a lower part toward an upper part and is formed such that the cross-sectional area of the upper part is larger than the cross-sectional area of the lower part. The cylindrical body has screw flights for stirring the carbides and a plurality of gasifying agent supplying ports provided in proximity to an upper screw flight of two vertically opposed, adjacent screw flights, each gasifying agent supplying port comprising a hole formed with an angle so as to eject a gasifying agent to a direction lower than horizontal.
