Abstract:
A reforming apparatus or the like that is capable of homogeneous mixing of water (steam)
with a raw material, prevention of carbon deposition without the need to install
a temperature control unit, efficient heating of water or mixtures by a heating
gas, etc. Accordingly, the reforming apparatus comprises first evaporator
(05) of cylindrical form with a first flow channel; second evaporator (06) of
cylindrical form with a second flow channel; piping (027) connecting the outlet
of the first flow channel to the inlet of the second flow channel; and raw material
mixing section (028) disposed in the midstream of the piping, wherein the first
evaporator and the second evaporator are disposed concentrically, and wherein
heating gas flow channel (024) is provided between the first evaporator and the
second evaporator, and wherein in the first evaporator, water (021) flowing through
the first flow channel is heated by heating gas into steam, and wherein in the raw
material mixing section, a raw material is mixed in the steam to thereby produce
a mixture, and wherein in the second evaporator, the mixture flowing through
the second flow channel is heated by heating gas into superheated vapor, and wherein
this superheated vapor flows through reforming catalyst layer (03).
