A reforming device (4) is provided with: a reformer (5) in which an ammonia gas is burnt by air to generate heat to reform the ammonia gas by utilizing the generated heat; a feed tube (6) which is connected to the reformer (5) and through which a gas comprising the ammonia gas and air to be fed to the reformer (5) flows; a gas inlet section (10) which is arranged in the feed tube (6) and through which the ammonia gas and air are introduced into the inside of the feed tube (6) in such a manner that a tubular flow can be generated; an ignition section (11) which is attached to the feed tube (6) and can ignite the ammonia gas introduced into the inside of the feed tube (6) through the gas inlet section (10); and an ammonia gas introduction section (12) which is arranged in the feed tube (6) on a side closer to the reformer (5) than the gas inlet section (10) and through which the ammonia gas is introduced into the inside of the feed tube (6).
