Abstract:
Refractory binding systems are disclosed which include acrylic and/or methacrylic acid homopolymers or copolymers or salts thereof, and a carbon source, such as carbon black, graphite, coke, pitch, oils and esters of oils, fats and esters of fats, polyolefins, methane series hydrocarbons, aliphatic acids and salts and esters of aliphatic acids, and mixtures thereof.
