Abstract:
A refrigerant compressor having a configuration whereby: lubricating oil is separated from a compressed refrigerant and stored in an oil storage chamber; the stored lubricating oil is supplied to a prescribed unit to be supplied; and the supply of lubricating oil to the unit to be supplied occurs stably. The refrigerant compressor includes: a compression mechanism 40 that compresses refrigerant guided to an intake chamber C3; a discharge chamber C2 to which the compressed refrigerant is discharged; a separation chamber C5 that separates lubricating oil from the compressed refrigerant; a first oil storage chamber C6 that connects to the discharge chamber C2 and the separation chamber C5 and to which the lubricating oil separated from the compressed refrigerant is guided; and a second oil storage chamber C7 that connects to the first oil storage chamber C6 and to which the lubricating oil inside the first oil storage chamber C6 is guided. The refrigerant compressor is configured such that the lubricating oil inside the second oil storage chamber C7 is supplied to a back pressure chamber C4.
