Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/103786
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a refrigerant leak detection device that is unlikely to be affected by changes caused by aging and is capable of precisely detecting the occurrence of refrigerant leaks without requiring heating or discharging. The refrigerant leak detection device comprises: a light-emission unit (41) that emits infrared rays and is provided inside a case (14) that houses therein a refrigerant pipe (30) filled with flammable refrigerant; a light-receiving unit (42) provided inside the case (14) and receiving the infrared rays emitted from the light-emission unit (41); and a refrigerant leak detection unit (61) that detects the occurrence of refrigerant leaks inside the case (14), on the basis of the intensity of the infrared rays received by the light-receiving unit (42).
