Abstract:
Disclosed is a refrigerant leakage sensing system in refrigeration cycles which allows an adjustment to be readily made to the position of a fluid level sensor means according to the fluid level of the refrigerant that is filled in a facility for the first time after the installation thereof and which enables practically applicable leakage control with improved accuracy. The refrigerant leakage sensing system in refrigeration cycles is adapted as follows. The fluid level sensor means (9), which detects the fluid level of the refrigerant (2) inside a refrigerant storage section (7), is provided outside the refrigerant storage section (7) that is in fluid communication with a fluid tank (1). The fluid level sensor means (9) can be adjustably placed at the position of the leakage check criterion fluid level which ensures that no leakage is occurring in the refrigeration cycle.
