Abstract:
A refrigerating apparatus comprising a supercooling circuit (8) having a supercooling heat exchanger (15) provided between a condenser (3) and a main expansion mechanism (9), and an injection circuit (10) for injecting into an intermediate pressure portion (1a) of a compressor (1) a gas refrigerant from the supercooling heat exchanger (15). An electrical expansion valve (16) is provided on a supercooling piping which branches from a main stream at a point (P1) upstream of the supercooling heat exchanger (15) to extend to the supercooling heat exchanger (15). Full closing of the electrical expansion valve (16) can turn off an injecting action of the injection circuit (10). Also, controlling an opening of the electrical expansion valve (16) to a desired level can set a degree of supercooling by the supercooling circuit (8) and an amount of injection by the injection circuit (10) to desired values. It is possible to control the supercooling circuit and the injection circuit with low noises and at low cost.
