Abstract:

A refrigerating device for containers wherein an allowable equivalent negative phase sequence current (Itg) of a connected power generator is calculated on the basis of the capacity of the power generator in step S3. In step S4, power consumption for an inverter that generates an equivalent negative phase sequence current is calculated, and in step S6, the equivalent negative phase sequence current (It) generated by the refrigerating device for containers is calculated on the basis of the power consumption of the inverter. Then, in step S9, the equivalent negative phase sequence current (It) is compared to the allowable equivalent negative phase sequence current (Itg), and if the equivalent negative phase sequence current (It) is greater than the allowable equivalent negative phase sequence current (Itg), then the output frequency of the inverter is repeatedly decreased to the limit where the equivalent negative phase sequence current (It) is less than or equal to the allowable equivalent negative phase sequence current (Itg). Accordingly, even if the connected power generator has a small capacity, the device can continue operations appropriate to the small capacity without leading to abnormal overheating or burning.
