Abstract:
A refrigerating and freezing device (1), comprising: a casing (10). The interior of the casing (10) defines: at least one storage chamber for storing articles; a machine chamber (11), a compressor (30) for compressing a refrigerant being accommodated in the machine chamber; and an evaporator chamber (12) in which an evaporator (40) for heat exchange with an airflow to form a cooling airflow to be supplied to the at least one storage chamber and an air blower (50) for driving airflows to circulate between the at least one storage chamber and the evaporator chamber (12) are accommodated. The machine chamber (11) and the evaporator chamber (12) are provided side by side at the lower portion of the rear side of a casing body along a width direction of the casing body.
