Abstract:
A refrigerating machine oil composition which comprises (A) an oil base ingredient comprising a polyether compound having a pour point of -10°C or lower and (B) a mineral oil ingredient containing sulfur in an (A)/(B) ratio of from 25/75 to 99/1 by weight and in which the content of sulfur derived from the mineral oil ingredient (B) is 5 to 1,000 ppm. The refrigerating machine oil composition has excellent compatibility with natural refrigerants, especially an ammonia refrigerant, and has improved lubricity. It is usable in industrial refrigerating machines in which natural refrigerants such as ammonia, propane, butane, and carbon dioxide are employed.
