Abstract:
The present invention is advantageous in saving energy. A refrigerating system 1 comprising a plurality of inverter turbo refrigerating machines 12A, 12B and a plurality of cooling towers 31A, 31B respectively corresponding to the inverter turbo refrigerating machines 12A, 12B, having a coolant is circulating between the corresponding inverter turbo refrigerating machines 12A, 12B and cooling towers 31A, 31B, and changing the number of operating inverter turbo refrigerating machines 12A, 12B to accommodate the cooling load, wherein when a part of the inverter turbo refrigerating machine 12B stops, the cooling tower 31B corresponding to the non-operating inverter turbo refrigerating machine 12B is brought into operation by connecting to the cooling tower 31A corresponding to the inverter turbo refrigerating machine 12a to be operated.
