Abstract:
A refrigeration appliance (10) comprises a container and a sealing system. The container defines a refrigeration compartment, and the sealing system comprises an evaporator (210) disposed at the refrigeration compartment. The refrigeration appliance (10) further comprises an electric heater (301) disposed adjacent to the evaporator. The electric heater (301) comprises a resistance wire (318), a sheath (310) disposed around the resistance wire (318) from a first end portion to a second end portion, and a hydrophobic layer (324) formed on the sheath (310) from the first end portion to the second end portion.
