Abstract:
Provided are a refrigeration cycle apparatus in which LCCP can be suppressed to a low level when performing a thermal cycle using a refrigerant having a sufficiently low GWP, and a method for determining a refrigerant injection amount in a refrigeration cycle apparatus. The present invention is provided with: an outdoor unit (20) having a compressor (21) and an outdoor heat exchanger (23); an indoor unit (30) having an indoor heat exchanger (31); and refrigerant conduits (5, 6) for connecting the outdoor unit (20) and the indoor unit (30), wherein a refrigerant including at least 1,2-difluoroethylene is injected in a refrigerant circuit (10) that is configured by connecting the compressor (21), the outdoor heat exchanger (23), and the indoor heat exchanger (31), and the condition that the amount of the refrigerant injected in the refrigerant circuit (10) is 160 g to 560 g per 1 kW of refrigeration capacity is satisfied.
