Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a refrigeration cycle apparatus that handles not only an alternating current supply but also a direct current supply. The refrigeration cycle apparatus (100) according to the present invention comprises: a coolant circuit wherein a compressor, a condenser, a pressure reducing apparatus, and a vaporizer are connected by a coolant pipe; at least one auxiliary instrument; and a ventilator provided at at least one of the condenser and the vaporizer; wherein the refrigeration cycle apparatus (100) is configured to be operable via the supply from both a direct current supply source and an alternating current supply source. With the refrigeration cycle apparatus according to the present invention, it is possible to use the direct current supply source as a primary power source, thus allowing for large improvements of the efficiency of a system.
