Abstract:
A second flow-path switching device (12) includes: a first distribution device (4a) that is configured to distribute a refrigerant to a plurality of refrigerant passages in a first heat exchanger; a second distribution device (4b) that is configured to distribute the refrigerant to the plurality of refrigerant passages in the first heat exchanger and to a second heat exchanger; and a switching unit (3) that switches between connecting a refrigerant inlet of a first heat exchange device to the first distribution device and connecting said refrigerant inlet to the second distribution device, according to whether the order in which the refrigerant circulates is a first order (cooling) or a second order (heating), and that switches between allowing the refrigerant flowing out from a refrigerant outlet of the first heat exchanger (5a) to pass through the second heat exchanger and allowing the refrigerant flowing out therefrom to join the refrigerant flowing out from a refrigerant outlet of the second heat exchanger (5b). Accordingly, a refrigeration cycle apparatus that is configured to evenly distribute the refrigerant irrespective of cooling or heating, thus improving the heat-transfer performance, is realized.
