Abstract:
A refrigeration cycle apparatus according to the present invention is provided with: a refrigeration cycle circuit which has an indoor heat exchanger serving as a frequency-variable compressor and a heat radiator and has a refrigerant circulated therein; an indoor air blowing device that has a fan and a rotational speed variable motor for driving the fan and that supplies air to the indoor heat exchanger by the fan that is rotated by the motor; and a control device that controls the frequency of the compressor and the rotational speed of the motor. The control device is configured to control the frequency of an AC electric current outputted from an inverter to the motor so as to control the rotational speed of the motor. The inverter is disposed at a place exposed to air obtained after exchange of heat with the indoor heat exchanger. The control device is configured to control the frequency of the compressor to a frequency at which the temperature of the inverter is lower than a first predetermined temperature in a state where the rotational speed of the motor is lower than a predetermined rotational speed.
