Abstract:
A refrigeration cycle device (1) includes: a compressor (3) that compresses a refrigerant; a condenser (4); an expansion valve (5) that adjusts the flow rate of the refrigerant; an evaporator (6); an accumulator (7); and a control device (2) that controls the expansion valve (5). The control device (2) includes: a supercooling degree controller (21); a discharge temperature controller (22); and a first maximum selector (23). The supercooling degree controller (21): calculates a first opening degree of the expansion valve (5) such that the supercooling degree of the refrigerant tracks a target value; and outputs a calculation result. The discharge temperature controller (22): calculates a second opening degree of the expansion valve (5) such that the temperature of the refrigerant discharged from the compressor (3) follows a predetermined upper limit value; and outputs a calculation result. The first maximum selector (23) outputs the highest value from between the value of the output of the supercooling degree controller (21) and value of the output of the discharge temperature controller (22). The control device (2) controls the expansion valve (5) by using the value output from the first maximum selector (23).
