Abstract:
Provided is a refrigeration cycle device and a method for controlling same with which, for a refrigeration circuit that uses a non-azeotropic refrigerant, it is possible to limit reductions in evaporator inlet temperatures due to temperature slip while limiting costs. A refrigeration cycle device (1) comprises a refrigerant circuit (10) in which a non-azeotropic refrigerant flows, and a control unit (20) that controls components constituting the refrigerant circuit (10). The refrigerant circuit (10) has: a low-stage compressor (11) and a high-stage compressor (12) that are connected in series and that compress the refrigerant; a first heat exchanger (13) and a second heat exchanger (14); a first pressure reduction unit (15); and an intermediate pressure injection unit (30) that supplies an intermediate pressure refrigerant, wherein the pressure on refrigerant that has undergone a condensation process has been reduced, to the high-stage compressor (12). The control unit (20) controls the rotation speed of the low-stage compressor (11) and the high-stage compressor (12) on the basis of an index indicating the evaporator inlet temperature or when set to a designated mode to control reductions in the evaporator inlet temperature.
