Abstract:
A refrigeration cycle device has a refrigerant circuit for circulating a refrigerant, a heat exchanger unit for accommodating a heat exchanger of the refrigerant circuit, and a control unit for controlling the heat exchanger unit. The heat exchanger unit is provided with a blower fan, an energization-type refrigerant detection means, and an alerting unit for issuing an alert about an abnormality. The control unit is configured such that: when an energization stop condition is satisfied while the refrigerant detection means is energized, the refrigerant detection means stops being energized; when an energization condition is satisfied while the energization to the refrigerant detection means is stopped, the refrigerant detection means is energized; and when the cumulative time of energization of the refrigerant detection means is equal to or greater than a threshold-value time, the alerting unit is caused to issue an alert about an abnormality.
