Abstract:
This refrigeration cycle device can be controlled remotely from an operation terminal (100). The refrigeration cycle device comprises a control unit and an authentication unit (230). The control unit controls the refrigeration cycle device. The authentication unit (230) connects with the operation terminal (100) through a network that is external to the refrigeration cycle device. The authentication unit (230) issues a first password to the operation terminal (100). The operation terminal (100) sends a second password and an operation command for the refrigeration cycle device to the authentication unit (230). If the authentication unit (230) receives the second password within a standard period of time from the timing at which the first password was issued, and the second password matches the first password, the authentication unit (230) permits the control unit to execute the operation command.
