Abstract:
A refrigeration cycle device configuring a cooling cycle circuit wherein a compressor (21), a condenser such as an indoor machine heat exchanger (22), a first expansion means (24), and an evaporator such as an outdoor machine heat exchanger (25) are connected by a coolant pipe. The evaporator is a heat exchanger having: a plurality of plate-shaped heat-transfer fins (41) that are arranged in parallel and have had water-skiing or water-repellant treatment; and a heat-transfer pipe (46) provided so as to be in contact with the plurality of heat-transfer fins (41), and having a coolant flowing therein. The refrigeration cycle device comprises: a drain pan (31) arranged below the evaporator; an evaporator fan such as a fan (26) for outdoor machines that generates an airflow that flows through the evaporator; and a heating unit (51) arranged at a position below the heat-transfer fins (41) and below the air from the heat-transfer fins (41).
