Abstract:
The refrigeration cycle device comprises: a compressor (11) which is connected to a refrigerant circuit; a low pressure detecting unit (13) which detects a low pressure (Ps) on the intake side of the compressor (11); a high pressure detecting unit (14) which detects a high pressure (Pd) on the discharge side of the compressor (11); and a control device (12) which controls the compressor (11) on the basis of the low pressure (Ps) and the high pressure (Pd). When the pressure ratio (Pr) of the low pressure (Ps) and the high pressure (Pd) is between an upper limit pressure ratio (B) and a lower limit pressure ratio (A), the control device (12) controls the compressor (11) in a normal operation mode, and when the pressure ratio (Pr) is not between the upper limit pressure ratio (B) and the lower limit pressure ratio (A), the control device (12) controls the compressor (11) in an extended life operation mode in which the acceleration speed of the compressor is slower than in the normal operation mode,
