Abstract:
This refrigeration cycle device is provided with: compression mechanisms (11a, 12a) for compressing and discharging a refrigerant; a radiator (13) for causing a heat exchange of the discharged refrigerant with outdoor air; an expansion valve (17) for decompressing the refrigerant which has flowed out from the radiator; an evaporator (18) for causing a heat exchange of the decompressed refrigerant with blown air which is blown in a space to be cooled; a first physical quantity detection unit (28) for detecting a first physical quantity correlating with the temperature of the refrigerant flowing into the evaporator; a second physical quantity detection unit (24) for detecting a second physical quantity correlating with the temperature of the blown air that is heat-exchanged in the evaporator and blown in the space to be cooled; defrosting operation determination units (S112, S122, S124, S126) for determining whether or not to start a defrosting operation of the evaporator on the basis of whether or not the temperature difference between the temperature of the refrigerant specified by the first physical quantity and the temperature of the blown air specified by the second physical quantity is equal to or greater than a determination threshold (T2); and a defrosting operation execution unit (S116) for executing the defrosting operation of the evaporator if it is determined that the defrosting operation of the evaporator is to be started.
