Abstract:
A refrigeration cycle device has a compressor (11), a heating unit (12, 30), a high-stage-side pressure reduction unit (13), a gas-liquid separation unit (14), a refrigerant branching unit (17), a first pressure reduction unit (19), a first evaporator (20), a second pressure reduction unit (23), and a second evaporator (24). The compressor has an intermediate-pressure port (11b) via which intermediate-pressure refrigerant within the cycle is allowed to flow and merge with compressed refrigerant. In the gas-liquid separation unit, the intermediate-pressure refrigerant depressurized by the high-stage-side pressure reduction unit is separated into gas and liquid phases and the separated gas-phase refrigerant is led to the intermediate-pressure port. In the refrigerant branching unit, the flow of the liquid-phase refrigerant separated in the gas-liquid separation unit is branched. In a cooling mode in which a liquid to undergo heat exchanging is cooled, a switch is made to a refrigerant circuit in which low-pressure refrigerant is caused to flow from the refrigerant branching unit into the first evaporator. In a heating mode in which the liquid to undergo heat exchanging is heated, a switch is made to a refrigerant circuit in which low-pressure refrigerant is caused to flow from the refrigerant branching unit into the second evaporator.
