Abstract:
The present invention comprises: a compressor (111) that compresses a refrigerant; a motor that is disposed in the compressor (111) and that generates a force for compressing the refrigerant, the force being generated by the rotation of a rotor due to a plurality of windings receiving voltage; and a winding switching unit (116) that carries out switching with respect to a plurality of winding states, by changing the connections of a plurality of windings. If the rotation speed of the rotor becomes higher than a predetermined value, the winding switching unit (116) switches to, from among the plurality of winding states, a first winding state that is different from a second winding state which has the highest efficiency with respect to the rotation speed of the rotor.
