Abstract:
A refrigerant containing R290 is circulated in this refrigeration cycle device (100). A compression mechanism (CM1) compresses refrigerant from a first suction port (Ps1) and discharges the same from a second discharge port (Pd2). A motor (M1) drives the compression mechanism (CM1). Refrigerant from a second suction port (Ps2) passes through the motor (M1) and is discharged from a first discharge port (Pd1). The refrigerant is circulated in a first circulation direction through: the first discharge port (Pd1), a first heat exchanger (3), a first pressure reduction device (31), and a second heat exchanger (4); the first suction port (Ps1) and the second discharge port (Pd2); and the second suction port (Ps2). When a first flow path (FP1) is formed, refrigerant from the first flow path (FP1) reaches the first suction port (Ps1) without passing through a third heat exchanger (10). When a second flow path (FP2) is formed, refrigerant from the second flow path (FP2) passes through the third heat exchanger (10) and then reaches the first suction port (Ps1).
