Abstract:
Provided is a refrigeration cycle device comprising: a compressor (11) that suctions, compresses, and discharges a refrigerant; heat radiation units (12, 42) that cause the refrigerant discharged from the compressor to release heat and heat air sent to a vehicle cabin space; pressure reduction units (14a, 14c) that reduce the pressure of the refrigerant that has released heat through the heat radiation units; external air heat absorption units (16, 19, 50, 54) that cause the refrigerant reduced in pressure by the pressure reduction units to absorb heat from external air; a waste heat absorption unit (19) that causes the refrigerant reduced in pressure by the pressure reduction units to absorb waste heat from waste heat generating equipment (80, 56); a shutter (90) that opens or closes to adjust the opening degree of a passage for external air introduced into the external air heat absorption units; and a control unit (60) that closes the shutter when it is determined that the quantity of waste heat from the waste heat generating equipment is greater than the quantity of heat absorbed by the refrigerant at the external air heat absorption units and the waste heat absorption unit.
