Abstract:
This refrigeration cycle device comprises an outdoor unit and an indoor unit, and carries out a pump-down operation for recovering the refrigerant in the indoor unit to the outdoor unit. The refrigeration cycle device also comprises: a compressor that has a motor driven by a motor current and that compresses and discharges the refrigerant; a motor current detector that detects the motor current supplied to the motor; and a control device that, on the basis of the detected motor current, determines whether air is mixed in the refrigerant flowing into the compressor, and controls the compressor according to the determination result.
