Abstract:
Provided is a refrigeration cycle system, heat source unit, or refrigeration cycle device in which a carbon dioxide refrigerant is used, wherein it is possible to supply a sufficient amount of a high-pressure refrigerant to a plurality of use-side heat exchangers. A refrigeration cycle system (1) using a carbon dioxide refrigerant, the refrigeration cycle system (1) comprising: a heat source circuit (12) provided with a secondary-side compressor (21), a cascade heat exchanger (35), a secondary-side switching mechanism (22), and an inflow passage (23); a plurality of use-side circuits (13a, 13b, 13c) each having a use-side heat exchanger (52a, 52b, 52c); a first interconnection pipe (8); a second interconnection pipe (9); a third interconnection pipe (7); a communicating passage (45); and a first on-off valve (46). The first interconnection pipe (8) and a first heat source-side pipe (28) connect the secondary-side switching mechanism (22) to the plurality of use-side heat exchangers (52a, 52b, 52c). The second interconnection pipe (9) and a second heat source-side pipe (29) connect the inflow passage (23) to the plurality of use-side heat exchangers (52a, 52b, 52c). The third interconnection pipe (7), a fourth heat source-side pipe (26), and a fifth heat source-side pipe (27) connect the cascade heat exchanger (35) to the plurality of use-side heat exchangers (52a, 52b, 52c). The communicating passage (45) connects the first interconnection pipe (8) and the second interconnection pipe (9). The first on-off valve (46) switches the first interconnection pipe (8) and the second interconnection pipe (9) between a communicating state and a non-communicating state.
