Abstract:
The present invention suppresses a decrease in the heat exchange efficiency of a cascade heat exchanger. The present invention comprises: a primary-side refrigerant circuit (5a) that circulates a primary-side refrigerant, and has a primary-side compressor (71), a cascade heat exchanger (35), and a primary-side heat exchanger (74); and a secondary-side refrigerant circuit (10) that circulates a secondary-side refrigerant, and has a secondary-side compressor (21), the cascade heat exchanger (35), and a user-side heat exchanger (52a, 52b, 52c). The primary-side refrigerant circuit (5a) has: a first connection pipe (115), a primary-side first contact pipe (111), and a liquid connection pipe (126) that connect the cascade heat exchanger (35) to the primary-side heat exchanger (74); the primary-side inlet flow path (125) of the primary-side compressor (71); a primary-side supercooling circuit (104) connecting to the liquid connection pipe (126) and the primary-side inlet flow path (125); and a primary-side supercooling expansion valve (104a) provided in the primary-side supercooling circuit (104). When the cascade heat exchanger (35) functions as a radiator for the primary-side refrigerant and an evaporator for the secondary-side refrigerant and the index relating to the degree of supercooling of the primary-side refrigerant at the outlet of the cascade heat exchanger (35) meets predetermined start conditions, the primary-side supercooling expansion valve (104a) is opened.
